2009 BMA Winter Banquet Recap
Thanks to all the donors, presenters & crazy attendees the 2009 Gala Banquet was a great success. The energy in the packed St Julien Hotel ballroom was amazing & we raised a bunch of fun(ds) for our trail planning & building efforts.
On his way to Obamaland, ex-mayor Shaun McGrath kicked off the night, saying farewell and thank you to the rowdy bikers he’s served so well. From there MC Dave Towle navigated us through dinner, drinks, the BMA Hero award to US Forest Service’s Ed Perault, the BMA lifetime Achievement award to our beloved Mike Barrow, then the silent & live auctions culminating in the fabulous trip for 2 to the Galapagos Islands.
